Growing up in an Amish community taught Anna Herschberger a lot about herself.
She helped her mother cater a restaurant, Miller's Home Cooking, out of their home.
She learned how to cook Amish-style food such as biscuits and gravy and mashed potatoes with gravy.
"My mom had a restaurant in her home, so that's all I've ever known how to do," she said.
Anna remembers helping her mother serve large groups of people that came and ate at their restaurant. With a life filled with restaurant experience, Herschberger worked as a waitress at Yoder's for eight years before being asked to take ownership.
This year Yoder's Kitchen is celebrating 15 years as Yoder's!
Yoder's features Lunch & Dinner buffets every day except Sunday.
Lunch: Mon – Fri from 10:30am – 2pm and Saturday all day
Dinner: Mon – Fri from 4:30pm- 8pm
Saturday features a Breakfast Buffet from 7am- 10:30am
Everything is made from scratch. Yoder's is known for their Broasted Chicken!
They feature a banquet facility that holds up to 350 people and offer private rooms that can accommodate parties from 30-50 people.
The Bakery features donuts, bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, Angel food cakes, Amish peanut butter, pies, Apple butter and homemade noodles made fresh every day!
The Gift Shop is a 2000 sq.ft. shop that features a variety of items and lots of seasonal items, as well.
