She helped her mother cater a restaurant, Miller's Home Cooking, out of their home. She learned how to cook Amish-style food such as biscuits and gravy and mashed potatoes with gravy. "My mom had a restaurant in her home, so that's all I've ever known how to do," she said. Anna remembers helping her mother serve large groups of people that came and ate at their restaurant.  With a life filled with restaurant experience, Herschberger worked as a waitress at Yoder's for eight years before being asked to take ownership. This year Yoder's Kitchen is celebrating 15 years as Yoder's! Yoder's features Lunch & Dinner buffets every day except Sunday.
