“Darn Good” Fresh Foods and the Taco Shack in Tolono, IL were started from the primary product, “Darn Good” Salsa. The Barrow’s started out making salsa for friends and family. They decided they could make a business out of it and began selling it at the Market at the Square Farmers Market at Lincoln Square in Urbana.
The Taco Shack prides themselves in the quality of fresh food they bring to their customers. They make SoCal Mexican food. Being born and raised in Southern California and having family influence, Kim learned the tricks to good cooking. Let’s not forget about the yummy baked goods they make, too! Where else can you get a burrito and a slice of Sweet Potato pie?? Only in Tolono!!
The Shack serves breakfast in the morning. Fresh homemade sausage gravy, breakfast burritos, The Shack Stack, Cinnamon Roll French Toast all made to order!
